Bookkeeping is one of those boring small business tasks that often gets forgotten when doing the more fun parts of starting a business.

But even a very basic amount of bookkeeping is better than none!

If you are overwhelmed by the finance side of running a business, try out this basic but useful page to help you track your money each month. It's a great place to start!

What is it? 1 page to print and fill out each month that will show:

1. Your expenses, such as supply purchases, advertising costs, website fees, etc
2. Your revenue, such as payouts from online commerce sites, freelance gigs that were completed, etc
3. Your net profit for the month after you subtract expenses from revenue. Now you can see what you actually made and know if your business is really profitable or just a fun hobby!
4. Extra spaces for goals, notes, to-do lists, or whatever you like to help keep you on top of everything.

This page can be used for personal finances as well as side-hustles or hobbies that might make/cost money! (pro tip: keep personal and business finances separate!)

Very helpful for tax time! (Always follow your local tax laws about what is and isn't deductible!)
